Account deletion
How to erase your Sleeved account and all the data tied to it.
Who can request it
Anyone with a Sleeved account, at any time, without giving a reason. This applies whether you use the mobile app or the website.
If you can no longer access the account’s email address, write to us anyway: explain the situation and we will ask for other details only the account owner would know.
What gets deleted
Deletion removes the account and everything attached to it:
| Data | What happens | Timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Account, name, and email address | Deleted | Within 30 days |
| Google and Apple sign-in links | Deleted | Within 30 days |
| Collections, cards, and collection value history | Deleted | Within 30 days |
| Decks, saved lists, and slots | Deleted | Within 30 days |
| Watchlist and price alerts | Deleted | Within 30 days |
| Sessions and access tokens | Deleted (you are signed out everywhere) | Within 30 days |
| CardTrader integration token | Deleted | Within 30 days |
| Search history and deck view history | Unlinked from the account (anonymized) | Within 30 days |
| Backups | Overwritten in the normal retention cycle | Within 90 days |
Deletion is permanent. There is no recovery window: once it is done, we cannot restore the collection or the decks, not even on request.
What we have to keep
- Payment and invoice records, where there was a paid subscription, for the period required by Brazilian tax law. Those records sit with the payment processor (Stripe) and contain no collection data.
- Data that has already been anonymized, and can no longer identify you, may be kept in aggregate product usage statistics.
- Technical and security logs the law requires us to preserve, for the legal retention period.
If you have an active subscription
Cancel the subscription before requesting deletion, or say in the same email that you want it cancelled too. Deleting the account stops future charges, but it does not automatically refund a period already paid for — the refund rules are in the Terms of Service.
Before you delete, consider
- Exporting your collection and your decks — export is available on the web and in the app, and it is the only way to keep those lists.
- Just signing out, if the goal is to get Sleeved off one device. Signing out erases nothing.
- Writing to us first, if the reason is something we might be able to fix.
Your other rights
Beyond deletion, Brazil’s General Data Protection Law grants you access to, correction of, and portability of your data. The Privacy Policy describes each of those rights and how to exercise them.
